What is the Reactivation Fee?



If a member attempts to cancel their membership, they will be informed during cancellation (you can also inform them if it’s over the phone) that if they’re planning on rejoining on a future date, they will be required to pay six months’ dues in order to reactivate with your program. This calculation is presented right on the screen during the cancellation process. 


Please remember that you have complete control over how much you choose to charge them for the reactivation fee, six months’ dues is only the default. 


We recommend that you DO NOT let your members know you have the ability to control this fee because there will then be nothing to prevent them from asking you to adjust it again in the future, thereby losing a major incentive to stay current.
